30 Minute Pregnancy Announcement - Starting at $225
It's finally your turn to make the big announcement that your family is growing! Whether it be through your own pregnancy, surrogacy, or adoption, it's about to be a wild and joy filled adventure. If you want to surprise your spouse, or family, or just a quiet moment to capture this moment in life, I'm honored to be asked.

Newborn - Starting at $400
Let's set the scene - You've just arrived home and are learning the new little person(s) you brought with you. It can be overwhelming and exhausting. BUT! It's also such a sweet time in life after awaiting it for 9+ months. Don't stress about having a Pinterest perfect clean house (you just brought a baby home). I would love to come hang out for an hour or so and capture your new family at home where you have all your comforts an arms length away. No need to pack up oodles of baby gear and try to feel comfortable not being home. I'll bring some cute props and my gear and all you have to do is snuggle your babe.

Fresh 48 - Starting at $450
Yay!! I'm allowed to join you in the hospital ! If you are having a hospital birth I would be honored if you asked me to come see your brand new babe that's fresh out of the oven. It can be overwhelming at the hospital, all the tests and nurses popping in, learning to nurse or care for a brand new baby. I have tons of patience, we let the hospital staff do their jobs, I'll step out any time needed. I set aside two hours for any type of Fresh 48.
If you have a home-birth (first off, wow! Way to go mama!) - this will be similar to my normal newborn session, I would just be more "on-call" for you and I have a few special props. But I come to you!

Maternity - starting at $300
It's time for you to glow, mama! okay, okay, you might not "feel" like you're glowing (and if you do, ROCK THAT). But my goal is when you look back at your gallery, you change your mind and feel empowered, strong, and gorgeous. This can be just for you, you and your spouse, or the whole family. We can do them at your home or at a common ground location!

Immediate Family - Starting at $300
You've finally convinced your husband that you need updated family pictures, your oldest are about to fly the coop, or you just love getting everyone in coordinating outfits. Whatever the case, I'd love to come to your home for an indoor/outdoor session, or we can work together to find another location (*wink*I've got a few favorite spots). For an hour we just focus on the connection, the giggles, the dad jokes, the ornery pre teen faces, and create something you can frame or proudly share on your Christmas cards!

Extended Family - Starting at $375
These are quickly becoming some of my favorites. How awesome is it that because of two people (grandma and grandpa) there's a whole herd of you?! This is always so fun to get snap shots of grandparents with their grands, all the grown siblings to update those old JPenney images from 20 years ago. I also make time for each individual family group to get a couple images and some of just mom and dad. I run the whole gamut but with a little organized chaos you get a whole bunch of updates and combinations that everyone involved can benefit from.

Seniors - Starting at $500
It's time for your high school senior to embark on their last year of school. Whether they're on every team, are the quiet one, or the wild one, we need to capture them before they escape off into the world! This session offering is a little more detailed than the average 1 hour session so hang with me;
This session includes up to 5 hours of shooting - we can spread out to 3 separate dates/seasons. I'm happy to get to know your senior with unlimited sports/hobbies/locations/outfits included. Typically we would be outdoors/school grounds. We can set aside some of the 5 hours to be at the studio *additional fee.
I'd also be happy to capture 30 minutes in the spring right before graduation with their cap and gown for an additional $50.

Seasonal Mini Sessions
Stay tuned to my social media pages as they pop up throughout the year. I occasionally host floral sessions in the summer and Christmas sessions starting as early as October (I promise I'm not crazy!). These are usually 20-30 minutes and scheduled like any other session. I stopped picking certain days that YOU have to work around as I found it easier to be more flexible.

FAQ
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel is based on minutes from my home base - New London, OH. 45 minutes from New London is an additional $25. An hour and a half from New London is an additional $50.
We want to include our pets in the session, is that okay?
Quick answer - YES! I love love love animals and have no allergies. Small perimeters would just pertain to if we are meeting up at a public location, not sure how well your feline friends travel, and pups usually need to be on a leash. But if I'm coming to you, the more fluffs the merrier. I do have access to one studio that allows pets!
Are siblings included in the newborn sessions?
This is completely up to you. If you have older kiddos, we can definitely incorporate them into the session. I personally love seeing their connection and excitement in holding and looking at their newest little playmate.
I have a really nice phone to take pictures - why should I hire a professional?
Trust me, I understand that cell phones take really high quality images. The main difference between myself and a phone is my creativity and artistic ability and you're ability to step back and just settle into your new routine while I edit and return your full gallery.
What is a Fresh 48 session?
If this is your first baby, it might come as a surprise how much a baby can change in just one week. If you do a hospital or home birth I treat the timing of these the same. If everything goes as planned with your delivery and time permits then I come to you within 48 hours of you delivering. If things don't go as planned then we just switch gears to a newborn session and go with the flow. That is why a Fresh 48 and Newborn session are so close in pricing. One is just more on call than the other.
What do we wear?
Newborn / Fresh 48 - wear what you feel comfortable in. Wear neutrals, soft tones. For family, I have a link to a Pinterest board on the Mama Lifestyle page with outfit/color inspirations that maybe you can pull from your own closet without having to invest more.
What does my session fee include | How long will it take to receive our images?
I don't do a bunch of consultations and gallery viewing sessions. Your session fee includes all of our time communicating, the time spent shooting the session (typically an hour), my time editing, and then you receive all the images I can edit (typically 50+ per 1 hour session.) You get digital images delivered to you within 3 weeks of your session in an online gallery. You get the printing rights so you can print them within your budget. I can make recommendations but at this time I don't have my own lab for printing. I try to give you the most for your budget while valuing my time as well.
I booked my session - what if I forget?
A day or so before your session I'll reach out and confirm that everything is still on track for the session we've scheduled. If something does come up before I reach out, please don't hesitate to contact me so we can be at the same page and work on rescheduling if necessary.
What about colors?
As a mama, here's my dilemma; it's a fun excuse to get new clothes for your session but I don't want to pressure anyone into spending more money. So again, on the Mama Lifestyle tab there will links that direct you to color ideas fabric combinations that go together well.
*Just try to avoid white white. Black is great but not on everyone or you will all blend together.
How soon should newborn photos be taken?
The standard answer is in the first two weeks. If that's too overwhelming for you, we can still get the "newborn" feel in the first 3-4 weeks.
How do you plan a session date when due dates are "guess dates"?
Typically I consider myself on call and block off several spots in two weeks prior and two weeks post your guess date so that I have availability. I also try to limit the number of newborns I take on each "tentative" month so that I have flexibility to fit your schedule post baby.
Will you be handling my baby?
I most certainly don't have to! This is a part of the in-home sessions that I truly love that I can offer. If you aren't comfortable I just guide you through how I need the baby moved. And I don't place the baby into any difficult positions. I will always check with you before I move or touch your baby (or you, if I need to move your hair).
Do you share images to social media?
This information will also be in your contract. If there are specific/legal reasons that anyone in your family cannot be shared on the internet I need to know that ahead of time and I will not share their images. Otherwise, it is part of my marketing to share a few images from sessions. We can discuss this more in-depth for sure though if you have further concerns. But I'm happy to block out children's faces in images if you want to protect their privacy. My husband and I personally do not publicly share our children.
Are there any particular places or conditions in which you would not want to photograph us?
If we are referring to lighting, dark rooms or late evening are not ideal at all for baby sessions. For family sessions, middle of the day is rough outdoors unless it's overcast. We go over this more with scheduling.
How would you describe your style and approach for a family photo sessions?
I don't stress too much about making sure everyone is crazy posed or having every single person looking. I love to have everyone together and having family time either talking, tickling or just goofing around. But I really love the connections that show during this and the real smiles. But I do aim for a handful of posed because I know it's nice to have a few to put in frames or to give to others.
What if my kids are not behaved?
They're kiddos. I can watch how my kids are behaving all day and try to plan a time to take their pictures on a good day and as soon as the camera comes out they just get grumpy. It happens. I can't say I remember having a session where I don't crack some kind of smile. It just takes patience, and remembering that I'm probably a stranger getting slightly in their bubble will add a stressor, so giving grace to their little worlds does help.
Do you help me pick outfits for everyone?
First things first - I don't want to force you into a certain style of clothing. If you're not a flannel wearing family then you're not a flannel wearing family; vice versa on super fancy. I want you to be true to your family. But never fear! If you're truly stumped I do have tips and ideas that you can use at your own leisure. This information is on the Mama Lifestyle tab.
